Meet the team – When you reach out to Hunter Stables via telephone, email or via one of our social media channels, one of our friendly team below will be ready to answer your queries, talk you through the various options available to you and work with you to bring your designs to life. All of our team have extensive experience with horses and are either keen riders or owners themselves so you can be reassured that they’ll understand your requirements.
Claire, Sales Manager
Claire is the lead salesperson at Hunter Stables and is responsible for building your quote for you, creating floor and brick plans for you to prepare your foundations, agreeing timescales for your build and assigning our team of experts to you on the day.
Claire grew up around horses and has been riding since she was four years old and has qualified in horse science business studies. Claire has had the privilege of working for one of the UK’s most prestigious showing yards in Yorkshire, where she was the head show groom/rider and has ridden at the Horse of the Year Show.
Kim, Marketing Manager
In addition to maintaining our brand, our website, social media channels and our various sales platforms. Kim also plans and organises our attendance at shows across the UK and designs some of our more creative and bespoke buildings for zoos, aviaries, to name a few.
In her personal life, Kim has been riding since she was 4 years old and is experienced in riding in a variety of disciplines. For the past three years, Kim has been focussing on polo, where she plays for her university team. Prior to her time in polo, Kim has ridden a number of difficult horses, where she has successfully schooled them for her clients.
Kelly, Buying Manager
Kelly works hard to keep us well stocked of all of our high quality materials needed for the manufacture and installation of your dream building. Kelly works with a great number of suppliers from all over the uk and ensures that our timber products are responsibly sourced.
As a keen horse owner and rider herself, Kelly has a great deal of experience in horse showing both as a competitor as well as a judge at various shows across the country. Kelly has been involved in the equestrian world from a young age and has a fond understanding of how to give them the best care possible.
Steve, Manufacturing Manager
Once you’ve agreed your design with us, Steve leads his team to craft your building from the highest quality materials and ensures that each building meets our seal of approval before leaving our workshop. As each build is made strictly to order, Steve and his team will know your building by name and will stand over each feature and request.
An ex racehorse owner for over 9 years, Steve humbly describes himself as a “happy hacker” and is a lover of the great outdoors and open waters where he runs, climbs and swims regularly.
Steve’s love for horses has always remained with him and he uses this well when consulting with the team on your design.
Hayley, Administration
Hayley works closely with the office team and supports them with managing quotes, responding to customer queries and all other administrative tasks that are essential to the smooth running of the business.
Hayley has been a keen rider since the age of 4 years old and owned her first horse when she was 12. Hayley has enjoyed carriage riding and driving as well as successfully showing and show jumping ponies for over 8 years before then studying animal care at college. Hayley joins us from a very busy veterinary practice where she was able to put her experience and training to good use.
Simon, General Manager
Simon supports and leads the operation as a whole, getting the best from the management team to ensure you are truly satisfied with your journey with us from first contact to final sign off at your property. Simon is on hand to provide the team with solutions as well as to meet and greet customers at their site prior to build to talk through any concerns they may have.
Simon has over 30 years experience in leading large business teams and complex operations, covering sales, operations, logistics and finance. Prior to managing Hunter Stables, he spent two years understanding the business by installing our buildings and meeting our customers and now puts this experience to good use by providing solutions to opportunities found whilst out in the field.
