Manganese and vitamin C help support cartilage, while methionine and other bioavailable sources of sulphur provide nutritional support for tendons, ligaments and muscles. Vitamins A, C, and E also provide antioxidant support for healthy cell function.

Soybean meal (GM), wheatfeed, high fibre oat by-product, grass, full fat soya (GM), molasses, calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, linseed expeller, glucosamine HCl, vitamin premix, soya oil (GM), sodium chloride, magnesium oxide and mannan oligosaccharides.

Feeding Guide

For a typical 500kg elderly horse in light work or retirement, TopSpec recommends dividing the Senior Feed Balancer between two feeds per day.

• 500kg horse: 500g per day – typically 250g in each of two feeds.
• 250kg pony: approximately 250g per day when fed at the equivalent recommended rate.

Provide grazing and good-quality hay or haylage where the horse can chew forage effectively. If chewing becomes difficult, suitable soaked fibre feeds can be used to partially or completely replace long forage under appropriate feeding guidance.
