SUPPORTING YOUR HORSE’S NUTRITION

HiLight Basic Horse & Pony Mix provides a simple feeding option for horses and ponies that do not need a high-energy concentrate. Because of its low-energy, high-fibre formulation, it is particularly suitable for horses and ponies at rest or undertaking lighter levels of work.

In addition, the coarse mix combines fibre-based ingredients with cereals, oil and added vitamins and minerals to provide a palatable everyday bucket feed. With 8MJ/kg of digestible energy, it offers a controlled approach to feeding horses and ponies whose energy needs are relatively modest.

Whether your horse is resting, enjoying occasional hacking or undertaking regular light exercise, this non-heating mix can be fed alongside suitable forage as part of a consistent feeding programme.
