How This Solar Lighting Kit Works

A high-efficiency solar panel charges the Hubi lithium battery hub during daylight hours. The stored energy then powers a bright 300-lumen LED bulb, providing dependable light when needed.

In a typical UK winter, you can expect around 1–2 hours of lighting per night. However, during brighter months, run times increase to 6–7 hours, depending on conditions and usage.

Extend Run Time with an Expansion Panel

If longer lighting times are required in winter, you can add an optional Expansion Solar Panel. This connects directly to the original panel using a daisy-chain setup.

As a result, nightly run times can double or even treble, making the system more flexible as requirements grow.

Simple DIY Installation

This LED bulb kit uses a plug-and-play design. Therefore, no specialist tools or electrical knowledge are required.

In most cases, installation takes under one hour, making it ideal for DIY fitting in working environments.

Lighting Coverage

The supplied LED bulb is designed to illuminate up to 16 m². For example, this is roughly the size of a single stable, greenhouse, shed or small workshop.
