Mollichaff Light Molasses Free is a high-fibre, low-sugar and starch chaff designed for horses and ponies requiring a calorie-controlled diet. It provides essential fibre while remaining highly palatable and encouraging natural chewing.
Made from a blend of straw, fibre pellets, soya oil, and dried grass, it is completely free from molasses, alfalfa, cereals, and preservatives. Added soya oil provides essential fatty acids to help maintain healthy skin and promote a glossy coat.
With just 1.8% sugar and 3.9% starch, Mollichaff Light Molasses Free is particularly suitable for horses and ponies requiring a low sugar and starch diet. It can also be used as a partial forage replacer for those with lower calorie requirements.

Straw, fibre pellets, soya oil, dried grass, limestone flour, salt and flavouring.
FEEDING GUIDE
200kg pony (9–12.2hh): 0.25–0.5kg per day. Up to 1.5kg per day when used as a partial forage replacer.
300kg pony (12.2–13.2hh): 0.5–1kg per day. Up to 2kg per day as a partial forage replacer.
400kg horse/pony (13.2–14.2hh): 0.75–1.25kg per day. Up to 2.5kg per day as a partial forage replacer.
450kg horse (14.2–15.2hh): 1–2kg per day. Up to 2.5kg per day as a partial forage replacer.
500kg horse (15.2–16.2hh): 1–1.5kg per day. Up to 3kg per day as a partial forage replacer.
600kg horse (over 16.2hh): 1.25–1.75kg per day. Up to 4kg per day as a partial forage replacer.
1 scoop = approximately 0.33kg.
Introduce any new feed gradually and always provide access to fresh drinking water. Adjust quantities according to the individual horse or pony’s requirements.
